In a time-honored townhouse in Innsbruck, two physiotherapists find a rental surgery and fulfill their long-term wish. A facelift should be carried out inexpensively, as the stairlift took up a large part of the budget for barrier-free accessibility. The floor plan with many connecting rooms was a challenge, which could only be achieved with all-round commitment. In the area of the therapy couches, room-defining, translucent curtain elements ensure privacy, the waiting area has a reception counter and pays tribute to the practice “Lebensraum”, with warm teas and cozy seating areas. A social room for the therapists is built into the existing walk-through kitchen, the rear part is used as a logistics zone and customer cloakroom, so that no therapy room is a walk-through room any longer!
