An existing business premises on Innsbruck’s Wilhelm Greil Street is intended to bring new life to the ground floor of the Landesbank office building through its new use. The new financing competence center requires four meeting rooms for its daily consultations, which are located along the passage and in the inner courtyard and are surrounded by open-space work areas so that the interior can be perceived as a continuum. This ensures contemporary work according to the ‘New Work’ principle, which extends an inviting hand to visitors. In the entreè on the lively side of the street, a lounge island, an espresso corner and a reception desk ensure immediate and barrier-free information upon entry. Lots of greenery and pictures from the bank’s archive, as well as natural materials (local industrial hemp, white fir and new wool) provide the comfortable setting that makes HYPO’s new ‘living space’ a feel-good place with a pleasant atmosphere.
