In Fulpmes, the construction site of the new Hypo Bank has triggered a redesign of the forecourt and the intersection in front of it, which is co-financed by the municipality of Fulpmes and Hypo Tirol. The location of the bus stops, and the parking lot opposite were considered together with the traffic planning as an immediately adjacent zone. During this renewal process, the community took advantage of the opportunity to think about the route to school, a Kiss+ Ride zone in front of the educational institutions, meeting zones, greening, unsealing and non-consumption zones as well as technical innovations. We are actively supporting them in this: pub gardens and non-consumption areas are to be created on the forecourt of the Hypo, which will take up the former transport hub. In the school area, seating stairs will connect the bus stops with the public playground. Trees and green carpets with seating elements will be used to promote village life where traffic has dominated in recent years. Bright, empathetic pavements and sponge city retention volumes under the trees ensure adequate irrigation technology, heat reduction and a surface open to diffusion. Existing monuments and characteristic buildings are highlighted through harmonious lighting planning, as befits a future-oriented community. Maybe our ever-growing open space project will have an infectious effect and motivate many Tyrolean communities to imitate!
